Wildwood Jade wins in fine style on debut

Feb 16, 2018

Stable continued it's fine run of form on Thursday with a double at Yarra Valley. The first leg was landed by debutant Wildwood Jade who impressed some smart judges with the style of the win.She has been a real firecracker at home, hard to handle and manage but a stack of natural ability. So fiery she was as a two year old she flipped over and broke track rider Belinda Carliles back.A long journey back for Bel was capped by strapping her girl on race day.Since her return to the stable she has ridden this filly every morning and despite the pain she caused the love for her is blind.Stable have everything crossed that she is a top liner as owner John Fenn deserves a real good horse.None more loyal than John and despite some ill health it was great to see him on track yesterday.A great ride by in the form Daniel Moor saw her win with her head in her chest and surely she must be very chance to make her mark in town.

This filly was $32,500 at the Magic Millions Sale and being by I am Invincible she looks very cheap now.Stable has a history of picking up inexpensive horses at this sale and we have two others currently available that came the same route. One is a two year old and the other a yearling and both are cracking types.Checkout the horses available page for more information.
