Surprise Hero breaks the mini drought

Apr 16, 2018

Gee it can be a tough game. Stable was flying with everything going to the races winning .You do the same things and everything goes to the races runs well without luck or getting the head in front. If we knew why then the sport would cease being a sport but the mini drought was broken by a horse that is becoming our drought breaker. When she won on debut for the team she broke a run of outs and she did again yesterday. She seems to enjoy being ridden quietly and then unleashing down the outside. These tactics were executed to perfection by Beau Mertens and the win was landed . The race record of 3 wins from 10 starts now looks very tidy again, she heads up to BM64 company now and she should continue to be effective on the synthetic surface.

As ever we can't do the job without the owners and a big thank you to Adam Meester and his ownership group. As stated before he is a shrewd judge who works with his own horses in some cases from when they were weanlings .

Winners tend to be like Melbourne trams, you wait forever for one then two come along at once. Looking at the number of nominations for the coming weeks we could be about to start a lovely little run. Tickets Please .
